This role involves overseeing the general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.

You will ensure that all financial statements and disclosures are accurate, complete, and in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have experience in public accounting and a strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage the Corporate Accounting team, providing guidance and direction on accounting issues and complex transactions
  • Oversee the general ledger and month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tasks
  • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and other accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Actuarial, Investments, and Tax, to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information
