The Job

We are currently looking for a skilled Security Officer to join our Timaru team. As a key member of our site operations, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, contractors, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the smooth operation of our weighbridge and Cardax ID card system.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to our visitors and employees.
  • Enforcing company policies and practices, while promoting a positive and respectful work environment.

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety.
  • possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to learn new systems quickly.
  • Prior security experience is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Hold a certificate in workplace training and assessing (desired but not required).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including four 12-hour shifts per week.
