About the Role
As a Timber Yard Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for working in our yard and drive-thru area as part of a high-performing team. Your primary focus will be on serving customers, loading and unloading products onto vehicles and trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers within our timber yard and drive-thru department.
  • Load goods onto customer vehicles.
  • Process customer orders and transactions.
  • Pick orders for delivery when needed.
  • Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and performing cycle counts.
  • Contribute to an efficient warehouse environment by assisting with tasks as directed.
  • Operate a forklift, ensuring safe handling and storage of materials.

Requirements
We are seeking a physically fit individual with a keen eye for health and safety values. You should be able to work well in a team environment, enjoying collaboration and supporting your colleagues. A customer-focused mindset is essential, as you will be interacting with clients regularly. Great attention to detail and organizational skills are also necessary for this role. While trade/product knowledge or warehousing experience is beneficial, it is not required.
