About the Job

As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Preparing annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
  • Key Responsibilities: Intercompany reconciliations, Monthly cost and WIP reports, Monthly sales reports and analysis, Maintenance of fixed asset schedules, Balance Sheet reconciliations, Preparing monthly management accounts, Completing Bank Reconciliations, IRD compliance for GST, Assist with Quarterly reports, Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and annual financial statements, Ensuring that internal controls, policies, and procedures are fit for purpose and adhered to

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 2+ years post-qualification accounting experience
  • A positive attitude to get things done and to meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability in developing relationships across businesses and in building positive working relationships
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and financial modelling skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Be resilient, business-minded and collaborative
  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Commerce
  • An understanding of preparing monthly management accounts
  • Advanced Excel skills
