We have developed a groundbreaking technology that recovers landfill gas into biomethane, also known as Renewable Natural Gas (RNG). Our WAGABOX units are designed to deliver high-quality biomethane, regardless of the quality of the raw biogas.

The biomethane produced by our WAGABOX units can be injected directly into the gas grid or used as fuel for vehicles. We build, own, operate, and maintain the WAGABOX units under long-term contracts with landfill owners, and biomethane sales revenue is shared.

**Job Description**

As a Project Manager at Waga Energy, you will lead collaborative project teams responsible for managing landfill biogas to RNG projects via the successful delivery and operations of our WAGABOX units.

**Responsibilities**

You will manage all aspects of the project, from initial feasibility analysis to planning, budgeting, design, permitting, construction, and ongoing operations. This includes:

  • Managing, mentoring, and providing guidance to junior and mid-level project engineers
  • Developing and executing project scope, budget, and schedule
  • Managing regulatory and permitting related tasks
  • Procuring equipment, supplies, and services necessary for project delivery

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, process, electrical, or a related discipline)
  • 10 years of previous experience in a similar engineering role, with at least 3 years in a project management role
  • A passion for environmental preservation and sustainability
  • Strong people management skills and ability to mentor, support, and develop junior and mid-level project engineers
