We are seeking a skilled Materials Science Engineer to join our team in Auckland.
This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects with a diverse range of clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring client requirements are met by conducting precise materials testing and inspections.
- Carrying out routine and non-routine destructive testing on a range of products and components across metals and plastics.
- Providing expert consultancy services to address clients' technical challenges in areas such as materials performance testing and failure analysis.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years' experience in materials or mechanical engineering.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills in testing, machining, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills to build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
- A valid driving license for travel to customer sites around NZ.
