Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Educational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with tamariki and whanau, developing positive relationships, and providing educational support. They will also contribute to observation and report writing, utilizing their expertise to empower individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement educational programs for tamariki and whanau">
  • Provide one-on-one and group educational support">
  • Contribute to observation and report writing">
  • Promote self-regulation and co-regulation skills">
  • Engage in restorative practice">

Requirements

">

We require a Level 2, 3, or 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent qualification. A Teacher aide qualification or other relevant certification is also acceptable. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to undertake rostered work hours.
