We are seeking a highly skilled professional for the position of Trade Compliance Specialist, to support our operations in North America. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, managing documentation, risk assessments, and creating compliance training programs.
You will exercise educated judgment to mitigate risks and prepare timely documentation for audit and control. Your responsibilities will include accurately classifying materials according to HTS and other relevant codes, obtaining and managing necessary export licenses and permits, and collaborating with internal departments to ensure compliance.
Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team or alone with little supervision.
- Certifications: Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), Certified U.S. Export Compliance Officer (CUSECO), and Licensed Customs Broker (LCB), completing training courses, and attending seminars and conferences.
