About the Role
We're looking for a skilled and experienced Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the National Bowel Screening Programme at Dunedin Hospital. In this role, you'll be working closely with the Gastroenterology Department to provide high-quality patient care and coordinate the endoscopy service.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the endoscopy service, ensuring that patients receive timely and efficient care
- Liaise with primary care, patients and whānau, the National Co-ordination Centre and the National Screening Unit
- Undertake advanced patient assessments and administrative duties, including booking procedure appointments and entering data in a specialised database
- Meet stringent Prevention Directorate reporting requirements, providing robust quality information to Health New Zealand Southern and the Prevention Directorate

Requirements
- Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand
- Extensive recent knowledge in gastroenterology procedures and particularly colonoscopy will be required
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
- Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
- The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused
