Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
  1. • Preparing treatment rooms for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols
    • Welcoming patients and making them feel comfortable
    • Assisting the dentist during procedures
    • Providing diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies, pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts
    • Maintaining patient appearance and ability to masticate by fabricating temporary restorations; cleaning and polishing removable appliances

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), strong verbal and written communication skills, and completion of a Dental Assisting Program. X-ray certification for the state of GA is also required.
