We are seeking a passionate individual to join us in building Singapore's R&D capabilities in Precision Health and Biodata, covering areas such as precision medicine, digital health, infectious diseases, population health, and biodata management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop plans to build relevant R&D capabilities and infrastructure that would catalyze data-driven innovation in Precision Health
  • Lead and facilitate engagements with partners across the ecosystem, including other public sector agencies, universities, hospitals, and industry players, to develop and implement strategies that attract R&D investments into Singapore
  • Monitor key scientific, industry, and regulatory trends to guide the development of R&D strategies and capabilities
  • Manage administration and drive improvements related to A*STAR research units

Requirements:

  • Degree or postgraduate degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or any other disciplines relating to Biomedical or Data Sciences
  • At least 3 years of working experience in either research, clinical, or business roles related to the above discipline
  • Knowledge and competence in the field of data-driven innovation (e.g., Biomedical AI, Digital Health) and precision medicine would be advantageous
  • Able to work independently and a strong team player
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Meticulous, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and able to multi-task
