Mission-Critical Role: Chief Operating Officer

The Chief Operating Officer plays a pivotal role in driving digital transformation, operational strategy, and financial sustainability within Harbour Hospice.

This senior leadership position requires an experienced executive with expertise in IT strategy, financial management, and operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute IT strategies that enhance the way we work and deliver high-quality care.
  • Lead financial planning, risk management, and forecasting initiatives to ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Oversee infrastructure, property, facilities, and operational systems to maintain optimal performance.
  • Drive strategic project execution and change management to achieve significant impact across the organization.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven leadership experience in complex organizations with a track record of successfully executing IT and digital transformation projects.
  • Strong financial acumen and commercial skills, including experience in financial planning, risk management, and forecasting.
  • Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building abilities, with the capacity to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • A background in health and/or not-for-profit sectors, although not essential.
