Job Description
You will be part of our Field Systems group, working on the development of positioning and control products for earthmoving and paving machines. Your responsibilities will include:
- Writing high-quality code in C++ or Android (Java and Kotlin) for machine control applications.
- Collaborating with application domain experts and other software developers across multiple international sites.
- Providing technical leadership to teams or projects as needed.
- Interpreting business challenges and recommending best practices based on your expertise.
- Leading problem-solving efforts and impacting customer, operational, project, or service objectives.
Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in computer science, engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent.
- Experience developing Android applications (Java, Kotlin) or C++ applications within a Windows or Linux environment.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Fundamental software engineering skills ensuring predictable outcomes in engineering, scheduling, and product quality.
