This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the Pendle Community Mental Health Team, you will be responsible for providing expert psychiatric services to adults in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients with complex mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and communicate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Participate in the Consultant On Call rota and contribute to the development of the team's clinical strategies and policies.
- Fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and included on the Specialist Register or eligible for entry within 6 months.
- Section 12 Approved and/or Approved Clinician status at the time of commencing employment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
