The Space Systems Propulsion team at Psc By Rocket Lab consists of experienced professionals with a range of expertise, spanning systems engineering, design, build, test, and operations.



Some of Our Past Achievements

  • We have successfully designed and developed several propulsion systems, including the Curie and HyperCurie engines.
  • We have also developed the ESCAPADE spacecraft propulsion systems.


Your Role in Our Team

As a Development Technician in our Space Systems Propulsion team, you will be working closely with engineers to design, develop, and test propulsion systems.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers to design, develop, and test propulsion systems.
  • Becoming proficient in operating equipment and machinery necessary for testing and validation.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, thinking ahead to avoid problems and learning on the job.
  • Support production and perform repetitive tasks as needed.


Requirements:

  • A strong attention to detail, technical curiosity, and eagerness to learn.
  • Industry experience and a trade certificate in Engineering, fitting and turning, welding, or electrical and instrumentation, or equivalent.
  • Machining, welding, electrical, or mechanical assembly experience and aptitude.
  • An ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with computer literacy.
