Auckland Council is seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Sound and Vision Crew, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional entertainment experiences across our venues.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in the technical event industry, with a broad knowledge of theatre terminology and working practices. You will be proficient in operating Sound systems, Projection equipment, LED screens, Cameras, and streaming equipment.

**Responsibilities**

- Set up and pack down technical equipment in various venues

- Work on diverse event types, including theatre productions, concerts, conferences, and product launches

- Collaborate with experienced technicians, artists, promoters, and corporate clients

**Requirements**

- Flexibility to work varying hours, including overnight shifts and weekends as required

- Physically fit and strong, with good communication and client engagement skills

- Ability to work under direction, in co-operation with others, and self-directed as needed
