Responsibilities

The Research Associate will support both field and laboratory experiments, coordinating and conducting data collection, analysis, and reporting for various research projects under the direction of the project leader.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in designing, executing, and monitoring field and laboratory experiments.
  • Collect and process samples from soil and plants, measuring greenhouse gas emissions while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Analyze data using appropriate tools and methodologies and contribute to the interpretation of results.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on research findings for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other technical staff to ensure efficient and effective workflow in both field and lab settings.
Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification.
  • 1-3 years' experience as a Research Associate is desirable.
  • An enthusiastic, collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative 'outside-the-box' approach to research challenges.
