About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as the Director of Education and Development - Specialist Provision. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our provision and driving excellence in education.

In this position, you will lead the development and implementation of our strategic plans, working closely with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of outstanding educational outcomes. Your expertise and leadership skills will be instrumental in building strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and learners.

As a seasoned leader in the FE sector, you will bring a wealth of experience in managing day-to-day operations, developing successful partnerships, and driving innovation. Your passion for creating inclusive and supportive environments will be invaluable in ensuring the success of our learners.

You will work collaboratively with our senior leadership team to drive organisational improvement, focusing on areas such as quality assurance, safeguarding, and staff development. Your influence and guidance will help shape our organisational culture, promoting a culture of excellence, respect, and inclusivity.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in leadership positions within the FE sector, particularly in specialist provision.
  • A proven track record of driving organisational improvement, including quality assurance, safeguarding, and staff development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of SEND provision and the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to meet the needs of learners.
  • The ability to think creatively and innovatively, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
