We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at Newmarket ColorShop. As a permanent Full Time member, you will be an integral part of our friendly Resene ColorShop team, working alongside the Shop Manager to promote and sell Resene products/systems to trade and retail customers.

The role involves maximising sales opportunities, maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the shop, and providing exceptional customer service. You will receive full product and service training, including the NZ Certificate in Retail and Business (NZQA).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving retail and trade customers
  • Till operation
  • Tinting and mixing paint
  • Manual handling of 4L and 10L paint pots
  • Daily cleaning duties and closing procedures of the store
  • Monthly training evenings

About You:

We are looking for someone with great customer service skills, a 'can-do' attitude, willingness to learn, and a love of colour. You should be a great team player, punctual, and reliable.
