We are seeking a skilled and experienced Customer Experience Lead to join our team at New World Timaru. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our checkout process.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee daily operations of the checkout team, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer experience.
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff to provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise staff scheduling and manage wage budgets, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, providing solutions that meet their needs.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team to deliver excellent results.
- A valid Liquor Licence Controller Qualification, Manager's Certificate, and Lotto Operator Certificate, or willingness to obtain them.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices, with the ability to ensure compliance and maintain high standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
