About the Role
  • Provide specialist consultancy services in vegetation ecology and other relevant areas
  • Support bid preparation and undertake work in your specialist area
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet programme and budget requirements
  • Lead delivery of high-quality ecological consultancy services to both internal and external clients

You will bring a PhD (strongly preferred) or postgraduate qualification in ecology, with experience in New Zealand botany, plant ecology, restoration biology, and ecological management. You should also have expertise in ecological effects assessments, natural area management, and restoration.

Able to think strategically and work proactively towards our company's vision, you must demonstrate project management skills, including budgeting, client liaison, project setup, and meeting deadlines. You should also have strong people management skills and be able to communicate effectively on various levels.
