Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Shine team in Auckland. As a key member of our team, you will work with clients to ensure their safety and provide them with access to essential services, including family, community, and cultural support, financial and housing stability, food, learning, and employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement trauma-informed care plans for clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver comprehensive services to clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage competing demands and prioritize tasks effectively.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, including those affected by family violence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Digital literacy, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Resilience, tenacity, and determination.
