Job Description
This role involves teaching and mentoring students in the Bachelor of Nursing program, with a focus on ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their future careers.

Responsibilities
As a Lecturer in Nurse Education, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering curriculum content that aligns with industry standards and best practices
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback to support their ongoing development
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of the program, including curriculum design and review

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least three years' experience as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field (or currently enrolled in one)
  • Cultural competence and a commitment to upholding the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • A strong track record of teaching and mentoring students in a tertiary education setting
