Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Store Person to join our client's team. As a key member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of stock levels and movement, verifying received stock against purchase orders and vendor documentation, and prioritising incoming stock and storing it efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining accurate records of stock levels and movement.
  • Verifying received stock against purchase orders and vendor documentation.
  • Prioritising incoming stock and storing it efficiently.
  • Handling delivery paperwork and coordinating with Finance.
  • Arranging domestic and international freight, including return documentation.
  • Picking, packing, checking (accuracy/QC), and dispatching orders.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries safely.
  • Assisting with crating and packaging machinery.
  • Ensuring warehouse supplies are maintained, and stock is correctly labelled.
  • Creating and processing stock transport orders for regional branches.
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, stock control, or logistics role.
  • Confident and clear communication skills – both in person and via email.
  • ERP system experience essential (SAP preferred but not essential).
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Current Forklift License (Reach truck license required, but training can be provided).
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
  • Reliable and hardworking, able to work independently and in a team.
  • Physically fit and strong – heavy lifting is required.
