About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate General Practitioner to lead our clinical team at Whaitara Health Centre in Whaitara. As a Clinical Lead, you will provide clinical leadership and be supported by our Clinical Director, Clinical Nurse Lead, and Business Manager.

About Us

Tui Ora is a holistic kaupapa Māori primary care organisation that empowers whānau (patients) to set their own health and wellbeing goals. We work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare providers, including fellow GPs, nurses, pharmacists, paramedics, administrators, and kaihāpai (healthcare professionals).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to the team
  • Work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare providers
  • Empower whānau to set their own health and wellbeing goals
Requirements
  • Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligible to apply for registration
  • Fellowship of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners, or training towards FRNZCGP
  • Preferably leadership experience within General Practice
  • A good knowledge of general practice care in Aotearoa (New Zealand)
  • Experience in applying tikanga Māori as it applies in the role
