Job Description

We are seeking an Automotive Trainer to join our team at Toi Ohomai Mokoia Campus in Rotorua. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching on all our Automotive Engineering programmes, presenting in the classroom, and in our specialized training and commercial workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Automotive Engineering programmes
  • Develop, plan and implement student assessment, courses and resource material
  • Monitor student progress and results and provide timely and accurate advice and support as required
  • Complete planning and timetabling for the Programme as well as assisting with recruitment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years post graduate industry experience
  • Adult Teaching Qualification (whilst desirable, professional development will be provided)
  • Possession of a valid NZ work visa or NZ residency
  • Culturally competent and confident workforce vertically and horizontally across our organisation
