Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of various types of forklifts and material handling equipment.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working on electric, diesel, and LPG forklifts, as well as excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to complete major repairs.

A tool of trade company vehicle will be provided for field service repairs, and you will work in a friendly, productive team environment with excellent working conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • General servicing and maintenance of forklifts from small machines to container handlers
  • Diagnostics using the latest equipment
  • Minor and major repairs
  • Attending to breakdowns and call outs
  • Evaluating and updating accurate paperwork
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Trade qualifications as a mechanic
  • Proven post-apprenticeship experience working on forklifts and materials handling equipment
  • Excellent diagnostic skills
  • Ability to complete major repairs
  • Good communication skills
