Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to children and adolescents in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Collaborate with other professionals to share knowledge and best practices in paediatrics.
- Support education and training initiatives, enhancing the skills of junior medical staff.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in paediatrics, applying this knowledge to improve patient care.
Your Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Annual Practising Certificate and vocational scope of Paediatrics with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
- Advanced Paediatric Life Support certification or equivalent.
- General Paediatrics experience, including Neonatology, Paediatric Oncology, and special interest in child development and protection.
- Preference for candidates joining the Paediatric MEDSAC team.
- Competency in te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori, or a willingness to start your learning journey.
