About the Role
Capital & Coast District Health Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Radiologist to join our dynamic team at Wellington Regional Hospital, Kenepuru Hospital, and Hutt Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a Radiology Consultant with expertise in Cardio-thoracic Imaging and/or Musculoskeletal Imaging to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting and supervising imaging lists, preparing and taking clinical meetings, and participating in diagnostic radiology on-call rosters. They will also have the opportunity to pursue interesting subspecialist work and participate in teaching registrars and medical students.

This role offers a unique chance to work in a close-knit team environment, with a strong focus on collegial working relationships and ongoing education. The department covers secondary and tertiary Cardiology, Respiratory, and Cardio-Thoracic surgical services, with a close working relationship with Cardiology and Respiratory and Cardio-Thoracic surgery. There are also opportunities for interventional procedures such as lung biopsy and pleural procedures.
