We are seeking an experienced Acoustic Inspection Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge inspection technologies and travel across New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific to conduct field inspections.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Perform acoustic inspections to assess overhead transmission and distribution networks, substations, and ground-mounted equipment using specialised ultrasonic technology.
  • Analyse data from acoustic surveys and electrical evaluations to identify asset risks and performance trends.
  • Deliver clear, detailed reports that align with customer maintenance and risk management standards.
  • Conduct additional assessments such as visual surveys, infrared thermal imaging, and online testing.
  • Collaborate with aerial inspection teams to integrate aerial-based inspections into acoustic survey programs.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have a degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering, industry experience in the electricity distribution sector, and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
