About the Job

As a Pole Assessor Assistant, you will be part of our Pole Inspection team, responsible for assessing and scoring poles and associated hardware according to Orion Network Standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Digging around poles
  • Taking mechanical measurements of poles
  • Conducting visual and photographic inspections of cross-arms and hardware

We provide training to ensure your success in this role and offer opportunities for career advancement. If you're interested in becoming a Line Mechanic, you'll be given priority consideration for apprenticeships.

Your Qualifications

  • Full Class 1 driver's licence (Class 2 preferred)
  • Experience in the utility industry or similar environments using standard equipment
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
