**Job Summary:**

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Phlebotomy Technician to join our team at Kettering Health Network. As a Phlebotomy Technician, you will work closely with patients, nurses, and laboratory staff to ensure that laboratory specimens are collected and processed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood and other biological specimens from patients.
  • Accession, label, and distribute specimens to the laboratory for analysis.
  • Assist patients with the collection of urine samples and tolerance tests.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 18 years of age and/or high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of experience in a phlebotomy setting preferred, or completion of a phlebotomy training program.
