Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing and managing merchandise for resale. This includes selecting and purchasing products, analyzing market research and trends, and developing marketing strategies to promote products and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing merchandise according to planogram requirements
  • Maintaining contact with suppliers to negotiate prices and delivery schedules
  • Providing exceptional customer service in-store
  • Reviewing store needs and determining quantities and types of merchandise to purchase
  • Selecting and purchasing products for resale
  • Developing marketing strategies to promote products and drive sales

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in buying or retail management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
