About the Role

We offer a wide range of sub-speciality interests and a diverse patient population, creating enormous scope and variety in the work available to an enthusiastic registrar.
About the Team/Service/Location
Our department consists of ten Physicians in General Medicine with a variety of sub-speciality interests and two intensivists. We also have an outpatient cardiology team, specialist nurses, and visiting sub-specialists. Our hospital is accredited by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) for Basic and Advanced Trainees.
About You
We welcome applications from Resident Medical Officers PGY3 level and above. Applicants must be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You will need to be a NZ or Australian citizen or resident, or have an appropriate visa to be eligible to live and work in NZ. Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth is essential.
