Role Description: As a Sales and Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for driving business growth in the agri sector by building and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and developing effective marketing strategies to establish and maintain a strong company brand. You will also be responsible for managing pipeline through to close, including screening, qualifying, and successfully negotiating contracts with customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to achieve high-growth sales targets
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through proactive outreach, referrals/introductions, industry events, and other channels
  • Managing pipeline through to close, including screening, qualifying, and successfully negotiating contracts with customers
  • Leveraging industry networks, opportunities, and participating in relevant industry events and demonstrations

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated track record in sales within the agri sector (experience selling high-value capital items and machinery a plus)
  • Experience and knowledge of the irrigation or dairy sectors (existing contacts and relationships within the South Island irrigated dairy market a plus)
  • Excellent communication, client relationship, and negotiating skills
