Project Quantity Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of the project QS tender process for vertical civil construction projects. This will involve working on a wide variety of projects from roading, subdivisions, earthwork, building foundations and drainage projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tender Document Preparation: Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
  • Cost Analysis: Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
  • Schedule of Quantities: Built schedule of quantities or bill of quantities, manual measuring of quantities from plans.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies. They will also advise on a procurement strategy, identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as part of a 3 person QS team. The ideal candidate will have experience in QS with vertical civil construction, tendering in New Zealand and working with local suppliers.
