About the Role
The Quality Facilitator will support the Quality Manager in delivering national, regional, and district level goals for quality and patient safety.
A key part of this role is to provide leave cover for the Faster Cancer Treatment Times Indicators program, which requires validation through electronic clinical records.
In-depth training will be provided.
The Quality Facilitator will work collaboratively with Service leaders to develop, improve, and implement a quality and risk management framework.
This will ensure effective structures and processes are in place to deliver safe, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide cover for the Faster Cancer Treatment Times (FCT) Indicators Programme when the Coordinator is on planned leave or extended periods of unplanned leave.
- Drive an organizational culture of innovation, transformation, and continuous quality improvement.
- Ensure improvement programs and projects are robust and based on best practices and evidence.
- Support clinical risk management processes including incident investigation, Learning Reviews, complaint review, risk identification, and mitigation strategies.
- Actively involve in patient safety and improvement projects.
- Fulfil the role of Certification/Accreditation Coordinator for the services.
