We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Quality Bakers manufacturing site as the Electrical & Automation Manager. As part of our Engineering team, you will provide leadership and direction to ensure long-term reliability through preventative maintenance, failure analysis, and electrical, instrumentation, and automation projects.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead site-based Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation projects and upgrades in line with our capital expenditure plans.
- Manage the Electrical & Automation team to deliver reliability and reduce costs through increased efficiency of equipment.
- Ensure Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation systems stay up-to-date with technology and development to optimize plant performance.
- Take ownership of Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation KPIs as reported in the Engineering scorecard.

About You
To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrician & Automation, preferably with a qualification in PLC programming.
  • Strong root cause analysis skills and ability to resolve breakdowns efficiently.
  • HSE knowledge and commitment to driving HSE capability across the team.
  • A focus on Continuous Improvement (CI) to leverage opportunities to transform and innovate.
