Job Description
We're seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to provide technical expertise in High Voltage Primary Engineering, managing primary design for distribution and transmission systems (22kV to 500kV). This is an exciting opportunity to join our diverse, multicultural team in New Zealand, with flexible work arrangements available in Auckland, Christchurch, or Wellington.
Responsibilities
Develop critical engineering deliverables for High Voltage substation projectsManage project packages, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveryProvide technical direction to design teams, manage technical reviews and quality assuranceEngage directly with clients, build collaborative relationships as a trusted adviserContribute to business development through proposal preparation and scopingMentor junior engineers, fostering the growth of our substation engineering capabilitiesRequirements
You'll need a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with experience in High Voltage transmission systems. You'll also need excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
