We are currently seeking an experienced Property Finance Legal Executive to join our busy Property/Commercial team in Tauranga.

About the Job:

  • You will work within an energetic and collegial team managed by a Partner across a range of work including development funding, developments, commercial property, conveyancing, subdivisions and asset protection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and execution of development funding agreements;
  • Work with clients to understand their requirements and provide advice on commercial property matters;
  • Conduct due diligence and prepare reports on various aspects of property transactions;
  • Prepare and execute contracts, deeds and other documents related to property transactions;
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Legal Executive with 2-5 years' experience;
  • Has knowledge of concepts and structures around how financing, mortgages and securities work;
  • Strong client service orientation and a desire to add real value to every client interaction;
  • Strong work ethic;
  • Excellent communication, written, analytical and transaction management skills; and
  • Down to earth and collaborative interpersonal style (be a team player).
