About the RoleWe are seeking a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience in a hospital setting to join our team as a District Nurse on a fixed term basis. Previous experience in community service (district nursing) would be an advantage but is not essential.
This role involves working in a challenging environment, being self-managed, energetic, and adaptable. You should also be flexible and take a keen interest in new initiatives.
- Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
- Current Annual Practising Certificate
- Current drivers' licence for automatic & manual vehicles and able to drive in rural settings
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a friendly team, car supplied, and child-friendly hours (0800 to 1630). Weekends are rostered approximately every 4-6 weeks.
