We are seeking an experienced estimator to join our team at Placemakers' National Estimating Unit. As a key member of our Frame and Truss estimation Team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Providing accurate and timely estimations for residential and light commercial buildings;
- Liaising with account managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and trade customers to ensure smooth project execution;
- Working closely with the estimation team to achieve goals and objectives;
- Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills;
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in Frame and Truss estimating or detailing is essential;
- Able to reach architectural plans;
- Strong customer service and sales skills;
- Experienced in MiTek software (20/20 or Sapphire);
- Building industry experience is ideal, but a desire to learn about our products is a must;
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette;
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively;
- Computer literacy, with confidence in using Excel and other software applications;
- Attitude and positive approach, sense of humour, and willingness to learn.
