Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee shop operations, ensuring presentation, stock sorting, pricing, and opening/closing procedures are executed efficiently.
  2. Create a welcoming shopping environment that showcases fashion flair and expertise.
  3. Drive sales by engaging customers, identifying needs, and recommending products to meet targets.
  4. Promote and manage incoming donations to maintain a diverse product range.
  5. Lead a team of Assistant Managers, Volunteers, and support a collaborative work environment.
  6. Foster a positive team culture by providing training and development opportunities.
  7. Ensure all employees reflect New Zealand Red Cross values and provide superior customer service.
Requirements
  1. Demonstrated knowledge of retail operations, stock management, sales drivers, administration, banking, and cash handling.
  2. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a management role, preferably in retail or customer service.
  3. Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  4. Enthusiasm for sustainable fashion and community impact.
  5. Exceptional customer service skills and conflict resolution abilities.
  6. Knowledge of ensuring goods are priced within guidelines.
  7. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends.
