We are seeking a dedicated Social Interaction Facilitator to join our team at Bupa Eventhorpe Care Home. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating social interaction among residents, promoting physical activity, and mental stimulation.
About the Role- This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend coverage as required.
- The Social Interaction Facilitator will work closely with the care team to ensure residents receive person-centred care and support.
- Facilitate social interaction among residents through group activities and one-on-one interactions.
- Promote physical activity and mental stimulation through planned activities and events.
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and engagement.
- A NZQA Diversional Therapy (level 4) Certificate or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar healthcare setting.
- Creative flair to contribute towards a full and varied activities programme.
