About the Role
  • This is a permanent full-time position working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend coverage as required.
  • The Social Interaction Facilitator will work closely with the care team to ensure residents receive person-centred care and support.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Facilitate social interaction among residents through group activities and one-on-one interactions.
  2. Promote physical activity and mental stimulation through planned activities and events.
  3. Maintain accurate records of resident participation and engagement.
Requirements
  • A NZQA Diversional Therapy (level 4) Certificate or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar healthcare setting.
  • Creative flair to contribute towards a full and varied activities programme.
