Highway Management Specialist

About our Work: We are currently seeking a skilled Traffic Management Specialist to join our team based in Hamilton. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to various Civil and Asphalt projects across the Waikato/Bay of Plenty region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring Safe Traffic Flow: Directing and managing traffic movement in and around construction sites, work zones, and areas requiring traffic management;
- Maintaining Traffic Control Devices: Installation and regular inspection/maintenance of traffic control devices such as cones, barriers, and signs;
- Managing Equipment and Vehicles: Regular inspection and maintenance of traffic management equipment, tools, and vehicles.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A valid TC, TTM, TMO -P or STMS Cat A/B ticket;
- A full class 1 license (preferably a full class 2 license);
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive under pressure;
- Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules, including weekends and nights;
- Excellent reliability and a positive attitude.
