About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join our Marketing, Business Development & Communications team in Auckland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping the profile and reputation of Publicis Groupe and our agency brands within the business and advertising community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic communications plans to enhance the reputation of Publicis Groupe and our agency brands
  • Craft compelling media releases, opinion pieces, and award submissions
  • Manage media relations and act as a key liaison between journalists and spokespeople
  • Create engaging content for social media channels
  • Support internal communication initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with key business and marketing journalists
  • Keep across key conferences and award programs
  • Support the development of strategic communications and marketing plans

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in communications, public relations or journalism
  • Confident and creative storyteller with exceptional writing skills
  • Strong communicator who thrives working with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience or genuine interest in the advertising, media and creative industries
  • Calm under pressure, collaborative, and organized
  • Natural at spotting great story angles and innovative ways to boost brand reputation
  • Tech-savvy and socially engaged
