About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Enforcement Officer to join our newly created Safety Camera System team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a meaningful contribution to road safety in New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support senior enforcement activities, including robust decision-making in relation to exemptions, escalations, disputes, and Ministry of Justice-related concerns.
  • Support customers with complex safety camera queries over the phone and via email, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Obtain and maintain an Enforcement Officer warrant.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Sound judgement and robust risk-based decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in resolving conflict, escalations, and disputes.
  • Ability to gather and analyse information from diverse sources to understand problems.
  • Experience in building and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
