Retail Sales Leadership Position

This leadership role oversees the achievement of regional profitability, including proactive reporting and variance management. You would report to the Managing Director NZ and have direct oversight of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Route to Market team to effectively manage regional performance through regular performance reviews, sales, and negotiation.
- Develop and implement regional plans to deliver required outcomes, including store plans reviewed and optimized.
- Maintain a strategic and operational understanding of customers within regions, used to create RTM profiles and plans.
- Foster strong relationships with customers to drive strategic customer relationships, including store reviews.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure exceptional customer service in areas such as distribution, SC, customer service, and finance.
- Actively manage accounts in these areas, including participation in strategic review meetings.
- Ensure Executional Excellence within the RTM team across all store-level areas.
- Ensure the team is well-planned using the KHC way of selling and executes sales plans effectively to meet agreed targets for NPD and sales.
- Support the development of team knowledge and utilization of category, brand, consumer, and competitor insights to enable insight-led selling discussions in-store.
- Ensure selling stories are coherent and consistent across regions.
- Lead annual store reviews with customers, ensuring this cascades into comprehensive plans for each team member executed and tracked.
- Participate in the development of the KHC Sales & Channel Plan.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to develop executional plans and identify opportunities ensuring delivery of the Channel and Customer Plans.
- Perform assigned tasks aligned with Kraft Heinz Food Safety, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Ethical and Human Resources policies, programs, and goals.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Sales, Marketing, or Business.
- Strong background in FMCG.
- Experience working with large retailers.
- Negotiation and Influencing.
- Proven ability to lead and develop others.
