Evidence-Based Policing (EBP) presents an opportunity for New Zealand Police to embed an evidence base into all our operations. The Service Centre comprises three specialised teams that together contribute to a multi-disciplinary and integrated approach to deliver high quality and innovative work.
Job RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have sound academic background with credibility within national and international academic communities. You will also require experience conducting research in operational environments and translating research into operational delivery, preferably in a policing or criminology environment.
A positive and pro-active approach to their work, with a willingness to 'learn the way forward', is essential for this role. This is a Wellington based position with an expectation of periods of travel.
