Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Dermatology Specialist to join our team in Hawke's Bay. As a specialist, you will provide clinical services including outpatient and community assessment and management of people requiring specialist dermatology care.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work with another dermatologist, a dermatology clinical nurse specialist, and dermatology nurses within the specialist & community services group. Clinics are provided in Hastings, Napier, Wairoa, and Waipukurau.

Responsibilities:

Provide clinical services including outpatient and community assessment and management of people requiring specialist dermatology careWork with other healthcare professionals to provide equitable access and patient-centred careLiaise with primary and secondary care services to empower patients, their whanau, and healthcare providers to look after their skin in health and disease

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must be registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand as a specialist and hold appropriate specialist qualifications in dermatology. You will also have skills and attributes including proficiency in medical dermatology, patch-testing, photo-dermatology, tele-dermatology, simple cutaneous surgery, and management of skin cancer.
